Atcomm services
Digital
Web development, applications, and integrations for Australian business. Websites and digital tools built to work as hard as your team does.
Websites and digital tools that work as hard as your team does.
Atcomm's Digital practice covers web development, business websites, web applications, and integrations. Built for businesses that need a professional digital presence, or a custom tool that off-the-shelf software doesn't solve.
What's covered
Business websites
Marketing websites for professional services firms and SMBs. Built on WordPress, Astro, or custom stacks depending on what the job requires. Fast, mobile-first, accessible, and maintainable.
Web applications
Custom web-based tools for clients with specific operational needs. Client portals, internal dashboards, workflow tools, calculators, and lightweight line-of-business applications.
Systems integrations
Connecting the tools your business already uses. CRM, accounting, email, forms, document management, and industry-specific software. Making systems talk to each other so your team doesn't have to re-key data.
WordPress specialist work
Ongoing WordPress maintenance, security, performance optimisation, plugin and theme development, and migration between hosts or platforms. For businesses with an existing WordPress site that needs proper care.
Digital infrastructure
Hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, CDN configuration, and email deliverability. The plumbing under your digital presence, set up correctly the first time.
Ongoing maintenance
Websites and applications need looking after. Security updates, backups, broken link checks, performance monitoring, and the occasional content update. Managed services agreements available for Digital work.
Who this practice is for
Atcomm's Digital practice suits:
- Professional services firms (legal, accounting, real estate, mortgage broking) needing a credible, well-maintained website
- Businesses with a custom operational need that no off-the-shelf tool solves
- Businesses with an existing WordPress site that needs proper ongoing care
- Existing Atcomm Technology clients who want their web presence handled by the same firm
The practice does not do:
- Speculative pitch work
- Free mock-ups
- Rush-job websites for businesses that don't know what they want
How Atcomm engages
Project-based builds. Websites and applications are scoped, quoted, and delivered as discrete projects. Fixed scope, clear deliverables, agreed timelines.
Ongoing maintenance retainers. Once a site or application is live, clients can engage Atcomm on a monthly retainer to keep it secure, updated, and performing.
Integrated with managed IT. Many clients engage Atcomm across both Technology and Digital. The firm handles the whole stack: the internal IT, the external website, and the integrations between them.
How a typical engagement starts. Most Digital engagements begin with a discovery conversation about the existing site, what's working, and what's not. Atcomm reviews the current platform, audience, and content, and proposes a scope that addresses the genuine constraints rather than rebuilding for the sake of rebuilding.

Common questions
Do you build websites in WordPress or in custom code?
It depends on what the business actually needs. Atcomm builds in WordPress where the use case fits (content sites, marketing-led sites with regular updates), and in custom frameworks where the requirements are more demanding (web applications, integrations, performance-critical sites). The right answer is the one the business can run for years afterwards.
What's involved in maintaining a website after build?
Maintenance covers security patching, software updates, hosting health, backups, and minor content updates. Atcomm offers ongoing maintenance retainers separately from build engagements, and many clients keep their site under retainer indefinitely. Sites that go un-maintained eventually break, get hacked, or fall behind.
Can you integrate the website with our CRM or accounting system?
Yes. Most Atcomm Digital builds include integrations of some kind: form submissions into CRMs, e-commerce orders into accounting, calendar bookings into operations. Where a polished off-the-shelf integration exists, Atcomm uses it; where it doesn't, the firm builds the integration directly using the underlying APIs.
How long does a typical website rebuild take?
Most business website rebuilds take eight to twelve weeks from kickoff to launch. Smaller projects may be faster, complex web applications can take longer. The discovery and content phases tend to take as long as the build itself, and rushing them produces websites that don't quite fit the business.
